This notice describes the version 1 reading site and worksheets. It will be updated if collection or use changes.
Reading and server records
Proofweight runs on Ghost and a DigitalOcean server. Requests to the site can produce ordinary hosting and web-server records, including the requested address, connection information such as an IP address, browser information and the time of a request. These records support delivery, security and troubleshooting.
Version 1 does not add advertising trackers or sell access to reader information. It has no paid membership or public comment form.
The site loads fonts from Google Fonts and Ghost assets from its hosting or content-delivery services. Those providers receive the connection information necessary to deliver their resources. Their handling of information is governed by their own policies.
Saved questions and reading preferences
The reading theme and questions you explicitly save are stored in your browser on your device. They are not synchronized to a Proofweight account.
You can remove a saved question using its bookmark control. Clearing this site's browser data removes stored preferences and saved questions. Browser settings can prevent local storage; reading remains available.
Worksheets
Text entered into the worksheets is processed in your browser. The worksheet code does not send those entries to Proofweight's server or an AI service.
Entries are not saved between visits unless you choose Save on this device. When enabled, the entries are stored in this browser's local storage. Turning that option off removes the stored worksheet copy, while the entries already on the open page remain available until you close or reload it.
Use anonymized examples. People who can access the same browser profile may be able to view locally saved entries. Clearing a worksheet removes its entries; clearing this site's browser data removes all saved worksheets.
Copying, downloading and printing create copies under your control. Those copies are not removed when you clear the browser's worksheet data.
Email and following
The contact links open your email application. A message is sent only when you choose to send it. Information you include will be available to Aditya and the email services delivering it, and can be used to respond to your request.
Avoid including confidential employee records or unnecessary personal information. You can ask about correction or deletion of correspondence by writing to the address above; the response will explain any information that needs to be retained.
Version 1 offers an RSS feed. Email subscriptions are not offered in this release.
Other websites
Research citations and other external links lead to services with their own privacy practices. Following one of those links takes you outside Proofweight.
Changes
Published for the version 1 release in September 2026. Material changes to the site's handling of reader information will be reflected here.
